Diving the Great Barrier Reef

All you could see was water all around.










They offered an underwater photography class today and I decided to sign up for it. It was pretty cool, we had a great instructor, actually the entire crew was awesome, and it adds to my PADI certification. A few shots from my class.




















We had a pretty diverse group with people from Australia, England, Japan, South Africa, and of course the US. It was an amazing experience. On a later dive some people got caught up in the current and got dragged about a mile away from the boat. They inflated their safety sausage and luckily the chief spotted them, but they were not far from disappearing forever.
